Alternative Spring Break

Student plays basketball with child

It’s spring break time again, and we’re wishing all our students a safe, relaxing, fun and invigorating break from classes and campus.  Some U-M students will be participating in the Alternative Spring Break (ASB), a service learning program sponsored by the Ginsberg Center for Community Service and Learning through the SERVE office. Each year, approximately 400 students travel by road to 25 to 30 sites across the United States to engage in meaningful action and to seek understanding of the root causes of social issues.
