SAPAC Collaborates with UMMA on Art Exhibit

SAPAC has created a collaborative project with the University of Michigan Museum of Art(UMMA) entitled, “Paths to Renewal,” which is a virtual exhibit to commemorate SAPAC's 25th Anniversary at the University of Michigan.  Feel free to explore the website and share your thoughts in the comments section.  You may even want to take a tour in UMMA as part of our alumni weeked or on your own to see some of the selected pieces.

As part of Asian/ Pacific American Heritage Month 2012 & in recognition of the 30th Anniversary of the Vincent Chin case, you are invited to a film screening of Vincent Who? and panel discussion with Director/Producer Curtis Chin (UM Alum) on Tuesday, April 10th at 6pm.

New North Campus video!

North Campus students have been exploring, karaoking, dancing, tailgating, game playing , hot air ballooning, skating, flash mobbing, ice carving, and more this year --  Check out the NEW North Campus Vibrancy video  highlighting some of the fun times! Most of these events were hosted by University Unions and the Center for Campus Involvement, along with other North Campus partners, as part of the Go North! initiative.

DPS invites public to March 29 crime meeting

University students, faculty and staff as well as members of the broader community are invited to attend the Department of Public Safety crime meeting at 11:30 a.m. March 29, 2012. The meeting will be held in the Michigan Union Pendleton Room.

Michigan Debate to send three teams to National tournament

On March 12, the U-M Debate program officially qualified three teams to the 2012 National Debate Tournament, which will be held at Emory University on March 30 - April 2.  U-M was only one of six teams in the country to qualify the maximum of three teams, and the first time since 2000 that U-M has qualified three teams to the NDT.

Michigan LeaderShape® Now Accepting Applications

Michigan LeaderShape is now accepting participant applications for the 2012 Michigan LeaderShape Institute sessions, and we encourage you to apply!  Applications will be accepted until Monday, March 12th.

The 2012 Michigan LeaderShape sessions will again be held at DeSales Conference Center in Brooklyn, MI.

The dates for the two sessions are:  April 30 - May 5 & August 20 – 25, 2012.
